This course is specifically designed for students seeking to obtain their eyelash technician license in the state of Minnesota, as it is a required step to legally perform eyelash extension services in the state. Petra V Pro is a Minnesota-licensed cosmetology school (#23002619 and #22002919).

Course Structure

Day 1 (8 Hours): Online Theory – Self-paced learning.
Day 2 (6 Hours): In-Person Training – Hands-on clinical instruction.

What You’ll Learn

Online Theory (8 Hours)
You will study the essential knowledge required by the Minnesota Board of Cosmetology, including:

• Structure, function, and disorders of the eye and orbital area
• Eyelash growth cycles
• Contraindications and allergic reactions
• Infection control
• Eye shapes and eyelash evaluation
• Product ingredients
• Health and safety guidelines
• Minnesota laws and rules

In-Person Training (6 Hours)
Hands-on clinical instruction will cover:

• Client consultation
• Eye design
• Cleaning and preparation of the eye area
• Application of classic lash extensions
• Removal of lash extensions

Next Steps After Course Completion

Upon successful completion of the 14-hour course, you will need to:

1. Take the Minnesota PSI Board Exams.
2. Apply for your Initial Operator Licensure through the Minnesota Board of Cosmetology.
